Skamania County Wind Power Resource Analysis

This wind power resource map covers the complete mid-Columbia region. It
is important to note that the wind resources available at the Saddleback project
are considered "fair" and some "good", while those in the western portion of the
county are considered "superb" and "excellent".

resources. Note that the wind resources available at the Saddleback
project range from
Class 2-Marginal to Class 4-Good.
Underwood Community Most Impacted by the Project (jpeg)
This map provides a visual depiction of the Underwood residential homes (current, approved
for the construction, and qualifying), closest to the project that would be
greatly impacted by the construction and operation of this facility.

This map, provided by Jason Spadaro of SDS during the Underwood Community
Meeting, is the result of a view-shed impact analysis performed by SDS. It
is important to note that just about all of the mid-Columbia region will be able
to see some number of turbines (day and night).
