About SOSA
The Save Our Scenic Area (SOSA) non-profit organization would like to thank you
for visiting our site. This organization is dedicated to preserving the
Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area view-shed; to further maintain the
existing rural and scenic character of Underwood, Washington, and surrounding
communities in Washington and Oregon; and works to preserve the intent of the
Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Act.
SOSA is involved in several projects through-out the
Mid-Columbia region, however it's current focus is on the
Saddleback Wind Turbine Project. We are NOT against renewable energy,
rather we work to ensure that for-profit business activities and/or citizen
unawareness does not degrade
everyone's national scenic treasure.
